When the Mavic 2 camera still works but the gimbal motors or arms are damaged, we replace the gimbal and keep your camera. We then calibrate the gimbal and test it through its full range. It costs £159.99, takes typically 3-7 days and is covered by our 12-month warranty. Post it in or drop it at our London workshop by appointment.

Signs your Mavic 2 needs this
- The gimbal will not level, twitches or points the wrong way
- Gimbal motor overload or gimbal error warnings in the DJI app
- A bent or cracked gimbal arm
- Grinding or buzzing from the gimbal motors

- Remove the damaged gimbal and transfer your camera to the replacement
- Refit the gimbal with its ribbon and shock absorbers seated correctly
- Calibrate the IMU, compass and gimbal, run a full hover and function test on the Mavic 2, then send it back tracked with photos of the work.

What is the difference between a gimbal replacement and a gimbal and camera replacement?
A gimbal replacement keeps your working Mavic 2 camera and replaces the motors and arms that move it. A gimbal and camera replacement swaps the whole unit when the camera is damaged too.
Will gimbal calibration in the app fix it?
Only if nothing is damaged. A bent arm or failing motor will keep going out of level however often it is calibrated.
What if my camera turns out to be damaged as well?
We tell you before going further and quote for the gimbal and camera replacement instead. Nothing extra is done without your approval.
Can I add other repairs to the same order?
Yes. Gimbal replacement is already ticked for you above, and you can tick anything else your Mavic 2 needs in the same order. The most expensive job is full price and every extra repair or upgrade is 10% off.
How do I get my Mavic 2 to you?

Yes. Every repair and upgrade we carry out on a drone comes with a 12-month warranty from our London workshop, and we send photos or video of the finished work before it ships back to you.
