How do I know it is the battery and not the charging port?
If it charges but runs down fast, it is usually the battery. If it will not charge at all, or only with the cable at an angle, it is more likely the USB-C port. We check both on the bench.
Should I get the 4000mAh battery upgrade instead?
If you want longer sessions than the stock battery gives, yes. The 4000mAh upgrade fits a higher-capacity battery to the SCUF Reflex in place of the stock one.
