A cracked top shell on the Avata 2 lets in dust and moisture and can loosen what it holds in place. We fit a new top shell, inspect the board and cables underneath, and flight test the drone. It costs £119.99, takes typically 3-7 days and is covered by our 12-month warranty. Post it in or drop it at our London workshop by appointment.

- Strip the damaged top shell and inspect the board, antennas and cables underneath
- Transfer the internal parts into the new top shell
- Reassemble the Avata 2 and check every panel is secure
- Calibrate the IMU, compass and gimbal, run a full hover and function test on the Avata 2, then send it back tracked with photos of the work.

Can I keep flying my Avata 2 with a cracked top shell?
It is not worth the risk. A cracked shell lets in grit and moisture and can let internal parts move in flight, which turns a shell repair into a board repair.
What if something inside is damaged too?
We inspect the internals while the shell is off. If anything else needs work we quote first and only carry it out with your approval.
Do you replace the bottom shell as well?
Only if it needs it. The bottom shell is a separate repair; tick both if both are cracked and you get our multi-repair saving.
Can I add other repairs to the same order?
Yes. Top shell replacement is already ticked for you above, and you can tick anything else your Avata 2 needs in the same order. The most expensive job is full price and every extra repair or upgrade is 10% off.
How do I get my Avata 2 to you?

Yes. Every repair and upgrade we carry out on a drone comes with a 12-month warranty from our London workshop, and we send photos or video of the finished work before it ships back to you.
