    Find your MacBook by the A-number on its underside and tell us what it's doing. You see the fixed price straight away.

  2. Book and send it in

    Mail it in from anywhere in the UK with a prepaid Royal Mail QR label (nothing to print, post it at any Post Office), or drop it at our SE15 workshop by appointment. London courier collection is coming soon.

  3. We check it in and confirm the fault

    We test it when it arrives. If it needs something different from what you booked, we quote that first and do nothing until you say yes.

  4. Repair and test, with photos and videos

    We fit the part and test it before it goes anywhere, and send you photos and videos of the work, so you see what we see.

  5. Tracked back to you

    It comes back tracked, with a 12-month warranty on parts and labour.

How much is a MacBook Pro 14 M3 screen replacement?

£538.99 for model A2918, A2992, including the display assembly, fitting and testing. You can add battery replacement, keyboard replacement, trackpad replacement to the same order for 10% off each extra repair.

My MacBook screen is black but the Mac seems to be on. Is it the screen?

Plug in an external monitor. If the desktop shows there, the screen or its cable is the likely fault and a screen replacement usually fixes it. If nothing shows anywhere, book a diagnostic instead: the fault is more likely on the logic board.

Will True Tone and the camera still work?

The camera, lid sensor and brightness are all tested before your MacBook leaves us. If any feature of your original screen cannot be carried over to the replacement on your model, we tell you before we start.

How do I get my MacBook Pro 14 M3 to you?

Post it to us from anywhere in the UK: add a prepaid Royal Mail label at checkout and you get a QR code to show at any Post Office, so there is nothing to print. A MacBook always goes as a Medium parcel; pack it in a padded box with at least 5 cm of padding all round and leave the charger at home unless we ask for it. We post it back tracked. In London you can also drop it off at our workshop by appointment.

Is the screen replacement covered by a warranty?

Yes: a 12-month warranty on parts and labour, the same as every OG Repairs repair. The warranty covers the work we did and the parts we fitted; it does not cover new accidental or liquid damage, or normal battery wear over time.
