Xbox One consoles (S and X) are older hardware now, and the faults that show up reflect that: disc drives on the disc-based models, HDMI ports worn from years of cable use, and overheating on units that have never been opened for a clean. Series X and Series S are newer but not immune — HDMI port damage and overheating both still happen, and no-power faults occur across both generations, usually down to the internal power supply rather than anything user-fixable.
The Series X in particular runs hotter under sustained load than most people expect from a console that size, which is why overheating repairs on it are usually a deep clean and thermal paste replacement rather than a dust wipe.
Whichever generation you've got, we inspect before quoting — a console that won't power on could be the PSU, the mainboard, or something simpler, and we won't know which until we've opened it up. How does mail-in work?
Tell us the fault and pick a prepaid Royal Mail tracked label at checkout (UK), or we'll send our workshop address (worldwide). Post it in, we diagnose and confirm the price, repair it, and ship it back to you tracked - free, UK and international.
How long does it take?
Most repairs are turned around in 1-2 working days once we receive it. Drop-offs are often same-day. When we're busy, a repair can be delayed by up to 7-10 working days - we do everything we can to avoid that. We keep you updated the whole way with photos and videos.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes - we accept mail-in repairs from anywhere in the world and post it back to you tracked.
What's the warranty?
Every repair and custom build comes with a 12-month warranty on the parts we fit and our workmanship. We're a full repair shop, so you're covered - the full terms are on our warranty policy page.
Do I pay upfront?
You confirm the quote before we start. For drop-offs you pay on completion; for mail-in you'll be sent a secure payment link once we've diagnosed it.
Is it safe to send my device?
Absolutely. We handle thousands of devices, track everything, and send you photos/videos of the work. Every device is tested before it goes back.
