Signs your Mavic 2 needs this
- Footage wobbles, shimmers or shows a "jello" effect
- The gimbal shakes or buzzes in a hover
- The camera horizon twitches or drifts during flight
- A rubber damper is torn, flattened or missing
What causes it
- Gimbal shock absorbers that have hardened, split or fallen out over time
- A crash that tears a damper or bends the gimbal mount
- Damaged or unbalanced propellers adding vibration to the airframe
How we fix it
- Check the props, motors and gimbal mount to find the source of the vibration
- Fit new gimbal shock absorbers and reseat the gimbal plate
- Correct any misalignment in the gimbal so it hangs and levels freely
- Calibrate the IMU, compass and gimbal, run a full hover and function test on the Mavic 2, then send it back tracked with photos of the work.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my Mavic 2 footage shaky?
The usual cause is the gimbal's rubber shock absorbers. Once one tears or hardens, motor vibration reaches the camera. Bent props and a knocked gimbal are the other common causes, and we check all three.
Will a gimbal calibration fix the vibration?
Not if the dampers are damaged. Calibration only corrects the gimbal's level; it cannot stop vibration getting through a torn or missing shock absorber.
Do you replace all the dampers or just the broken one?
We fit a full set so the gimbal plate is evenly supported. A single new damper next to old, hardened ones can leave the gimbal sitting unevenly.
Can I add other repairs to the same order?
Yes. Gimbal vibration repair is already ticked for you above, and you can tick anything else your Mavic 2 needs in the same order. The most expensive job is full price and every extra repair or upgrade is 10% off.
How do I get my Mavic 2 to you?
Mail it in from anywhere: UK orders can include a prepaid tracked label, and international customers get our workshop address and packing instructions by email. We send it back tracked at no extra charge. In the UK you can also drop it off at our London workshop by appointment.
Is the gimbal vibration repair covered by a warranty?
Yes. Every repair and upgrade we carry out on a drone comes with a 12-month warranty from our London workshop, and we send photos or video of the finished work before it ships back to you.
