HDMI port failure is one of the most common PS5 faults we see, usually from a cable knocked or pulled at an angle rather than disconnected straight — the port itself is soldered to the mainboard, so it's a board-level repair, not a plug-in part swap. Overheating shows up as loud fan noise or the console shutting down under load; on a PS5 that's a few years old it's almost always dust build-up combined with thermal paste (or the PS5's original thermal pad) that's dried out and needs replacing, not a fan that's actually broken.
Disc drive faults affect disc-edition consoles specifically and usually mean the drive mechanism itself, not a scratched disc. No-power faults are the least predictable to diagnose from the symptom alone — it could be the power supply, a connector, or something on the mainboard, which is why we run a diagnostic check first rather than quote blind.
