How much does a SCUF controller repair cost?
At OG Repairs, an independent London workshop, SCUF Reflex stick drift is Β£44.99 with standard sticks or Β£64.99 with TMR sticks, and a back paddle repair is Β£59.99. SCUF Instinct Pro stick drift is Β£59.99, or Β£79.99 with TMR sticks. Every price is fixed, with a 12-month warranty.
Do SCUF controllers get stick drift, and can it be fixed?
Yes. Unless a SCUF was built with magnetic TMR or Hall effect sticks, its thumbsticks use the same carbon track as a standard controller, which wears and starts to drift. OG Repairs replaces both sticks on a SCUF Reflex, Instinct Pro or Infinity 4PS, or fits TMR sticks that don't wear that way, with a 12-month warranty.
Should I use SCUF's warranty or an independent repairer?
If your SCUF is still under its manufacturer warranty, use that first: it costs nothing. Out of warranty, OG Repairs repairs SCUF controllers independently at fixed prices, can fit TMR sticks that stop wear-related drift, and gives its own 12-month warranty. Controllers are accepted by post from anywhere in the world.
SCUF repair questions
Are you SCUF's official repair centre?
No. We're an independent repair workshop in London; SCUF Gaming runs its own warranty service. If your SCUF is still under its manufacturer warranty, use that first. Out of warranty, or for an upgrade like TMR sticks, we repair it at a fixed price with our own 12-month warranty.
How much is a SCUF Reflex repair?
SCUF Reflex stick drift is Β£44.99 with standard sticks or Β£64.99 with TMR sticks, back paddles Β£59.99, adaptive triggers Β£59.99 and a new battery Β£24.99.
How much is a SCUF Instinct Pro or Envision repair?
SCUF Instinct Pro stick drift is Β£59.99 with standard sticks or Β£79.99 with TMR sticks, and back paddles Β£49.99. On a SCUF Envision, TMR sticks are Β£79.99, sticky buttons Β£49.99 and triggers Β£59.99. Every price is fixed.
Can you fix SCUF stick drift for good?
A standard stick replacement fixes the drift you have today, but the new sticks wear the same way as the originals. TMR sticks read position with a magnet instead of a carbon track, so they don't wear like that; we fit them to the Reflex, Instinct Pro, Envision and Infinity 4PS. Check your sticks first with our free Gamepad Tester.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every repair carries a 12-month warranty on the parts we fit and the work.
What if you can't fix it?
No fix, no fee: if we can't repair your controller, you don't pay for the repair.
Can I post my controller in?
Yes, from anywhere in the world. In the UK, add a prepaid Royal Mail tracked label at checkout and show the QR code at any Post Office, so there's nothing to print. From abroad, we send the workshop address and instructions after you book. It comes back to you tracked, free.
How long does a controller repair take?
Most controller repairs take a couple of hours on the bench, and standard turnaround is 1 to 3 working days once it's with us. Need it back the same day? Get in touch with the team about a priority slot before you book. When we're very busy it can take up to 7-10 working days, and we'll tell you if so.
Where are you in London?
Unit 9, Hatcham Road, London SE15 1TR, just off the Old Kent Road and about 10 minutes' walk from South Bermondsey station. Visits are by appointment, so book a free drop-off slot first.
