Disc drive not reading
Won't take a disc, spits it out or can't read it.
Ultrasonic deep clean
Shell and panels off and into an ultrasonic tank. Cosmetic: vents, seams and ports come back close to new.
Fan rattling or not spinning
If the fan itself has failed, a clean won't fix it. We replace the fan or a ripped fan connector.
USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
Loose or dead front USB, a broken LAN port, or controllers and Wi-Fi that keep dropping.
Freezing or error codes

Our ultrasonic deep clean is the cosmetic one: the shell and outer panels come off and go into an ultrasonic tank, and the vents, seams and port surrounds come back close to new. Add it to any repair and we do both in one visit.

How much does a console repair cost?
It depends on the console and the fault, and the price is fixed and shown before you book. A PS5 HDMI port is £74.99, a PS5 overheating repair with fresh liquid metal is £74.99, an Xbox Series X HDMI port is £74.99 and a PS5 that won't turn on is £149.99. Every price on this page is live from our shop.
Do you charge to diagnose my console?
No fix, no fee. If you go ahead with the repair, the diagnosis is included free. If we diagnose it and you decide not to go ahead, there's a £35 diagnostic fee. Either way you know exactly what's wrong and what it costs before any work starts.
How long does a console repair take?
HDMI and overheating repairs take 2-3 hours on the bench, so a drop-off is often ready the same day. No-power repairs take 3-5 days because they're board-level work. Mail-in repairs are turned around once they arrive. When we're very busy a repair can take up to 7-10 working days, and we'll tell you if that's the case.
Can I just walk in?
Visits are by appointment, so book a free slot online and bring it to Unit 9, Hatcham Road, London SE15 1TR. It's about 10 minutes' walk from South Bermondsey station. Booking means someone is ready for your console when you arrive, and you pay when you collect it.
Can I post my console to you?
Yes, from anywhere in the UK. Choose your console and the repair, pay online, and add a prepaid Royal Mail tracked label at checkout (£6.99 Tracked 48 or £9.99 Tracked 24) or post it yourself. It comes back to you tracked, free. Console repairs are a UK service, so we can't accept consoles posted from abroad.
Which consoles do you repair?
PS5 (original, Slim and Pro), Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One S and One X, PS4 (original, Slim and Pro) and Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED. For the Switch 2 we fix Joy-Con 2 stick drift. Something not listed? Ask for a quote and tell us what it is.
Do you replace the liquid metal on a PS5?
Yes. Liquid metal is what Sony uses on the PS5, so that's what goes back on: the old metal is cleaned off and fresh liquid metal is applied with the area dammed and levelled. It's part of the PS5 overheating repair (£74.99).
Will I lose my games and saves?
HDMI, cooling and power repairs don't involve the storage, so your games and saves stay where they are. If a job does involve the storage, like a drive upgrade or a corrupt drive, we explain what that means for your data before we start.
Is the ultrasonic deep clean the same as the overheating repair?
No. The overheating repair is internal: heatsink, fan and the liquid metal or thermal paste. The ultrasonic deep clean (£44.99) is cosmetic, for the shell and panels, and does nothing for temperatures. Lots of people have both done in the same visit.
How do I pay?
For a drop-off, you pay at the workshop once it's fixed. For mail-in, you pay online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay when you book.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every repair we do carries a 12-month warranty on the parts we fit and the work. The full terms are in our warranty policy.
