The PS5 range (standard, Slim, Pro) shares most of its common faults: HDMI ports that fail from cable strain, overheating that shows up as loud fans or thermal shutdowns, disc drives that stop reading on the disc editions, and SSD-related errors on units that have had a storage upgrade done badly. No-power faults happen on all three but are less common on the newer Slim and Pro units. PS4 (Original, Slim, Pro) sees more disc drive and HDMI failures relative to its age, plus overheating on units that have never had a deep clean.
PlayStation Portal is newer and the fault list is shorter — mostly charging and connectivity issues rather than the thermal and mechanical wear you see on a console that's been running for years.
We diagnose every unit before quoting, since two consoles with the same symptom can have different actual faults — a 'no power' PS5 might be a power supply issue or something further downstream. Drop off in London or post it in; either way you get the same inspection, documentation, and 12-month coverage on the finished repair.

Tell us the fault and pick a prepaid Royal Mail tracked label at checkout (UK), or we'll send our workshop address (worldwide). Post it in, we diagnose and confirm the price, repair it, and ship it back to you tracked - free, UK and international.
How long does it take?
Most repairs are turned around in 1-2 working days once we receive it. Drop-offs are often same-day. We keep you updated the whole way with photos and videos.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes - we accept mail-in repairs from anywhere in the world and post it back to you tracked.
What's the warranty?
Every repair and custom build comes with a 12-month warranty. We're a full repair shop, so you're covered.
Do I pay upfront?
You confirm the quote before we start. For drop-offs you pay on completion; for mail-in you'll be sent a secure payment link once we've diagnosed it.
Is it safe to send my device?
Absolutely. We handle thousands of devices, track everything, and send you photos/videos of the work. Every device is tested before it goes back.
