Switch consoles get treated differently from a console that sits under a TV — they're picked up, packed in bags, dropped, and plugged and unplugged from docks and chargers constantly. That shows in the fault list: charging ports worn loose from repeated cable insertion, joy-con rails that stop making a solid connection, cartridge slots that won't read a game reliably, and cracked or damaged screens from drops. Switch OLED sees the same faults plus its own screen-specific issues, since the OLED panel is a different part from the original LCD model.
Joy-con drift is the console-side equivalent of controller stick drift — same potentiometer wear, same fix logic, just built into a smaller unit. Battery health also becomes a factor on older units that have had years of charge cycles; a Switch that won't hold charge the way it used to is usually the battery, not the charging port.
We check the actual fault before quoting rather than assuming from the symptom, since a 'won't charge' Switch could be the port, the battery, or the cable. Drop off in London or post it to us — a Switch packs down small and travels well. 12-month coverage on all finished repairs.

How does mail-in work?
Tell us the fault and pick a prepaid Royal Mail tracked label at checkout (UK), or we'll send our workshop address (worldwide). Post it in, we diagnose and confirm the price, repair it, and ship it back to you tracked - free, UK and international.
How long does it take?
Most repairs are turned around in 1-2 working days once we receive it. Drop-offs are often same-day. We keep you updated the whole way with photos and videos.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes - we accept mail-in repairs from anywhere in the world and post it back to you tracked.
What's the warranty?
Every repair and custom build comes with a 12-month warranty. We're a full repair shop, so you're covered.
Do I pay upfront?
You confirm the quote before we start. For drop-offs you pay on completion; for mail-in you'll be sent a secure payment link once we've diagnosed it.
Is it safe to send my device?
Absolutely. We handle thousands of devices, track everything, and send you photos/videos of the work. Every device is tested before it goes back.
