DJI Mavic Air 2 Motor Arm Replacement
A broken or wobbly motor arm is the most common Mavic Air 2 crash repair. We fit a new arm with its motor, reroute the motor cable, then calibrate and flight test the drone. It costs £149.99, takes typically 3-7 days and is covered by our 12-month warranty. Post it in or drop it at our London workshop by appointment.

Signs your Mavic Air 2 needs this
- An arm is cracked, snapped or no longer locks firmly when unfolded
- A propeller will not spin, stutters or makes a grinding noise
- The Mavic Air 2 shows a motor or ESC error and refuses to take off
- The drone drifts, tilts or vibrates in a hover after a crash
What causes it
- A crash, tree strike or hard landing taking the impact on an arm
- Repeated folding stressing the arm hinge until it cracks or loosens
- Sand, grass or debris getting into the motor bell and wearing the bearings
How we fix it
- Inspect the airframe, shell and the other three arms for hidden crash damage
- Open the Mavic Air 2, disconnect the damaged arm and its motor cable
- Fit the replacement arm and motor, routing the cable exactly as DJI does
- Calibrate the IMU, compass and gimbal, run a full hover and function test on the Mavic Air 2, then send it back tracked with photos of the work.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Mavic Air 2 motor arm replacement include the motor?
Yes. The arms on DJI folding drones carry the motor, so the replacement arm comes with its motor fitted. If the crash also damaged the ESC or main board we tell you before doing anything extra.
Can I fly my Mavic Air 2 with a cracked arm?
We would not. A cracked arm flexes in flight, which upsets the IMU and can let the motor detach, turning a cheap arm repair into a lost drone.
What if more than one arm is damaged?
Tick the motor arm repair and add a note with how many arms are broken. We confirm the price for the extra arms before starting, and nothing is charged without your go-ahead.
Can I add other repairs to the same order?
Yes. Motor arm replacement is already ticked for you above, and you can tick anything else your Mavic Air 2 needs in the same order. The most expensive job is full price and every extra repair or upgrade is 10% off.
How do I get my Mavic Air 2 to you?
Mail it in from anywhere: UK orders can include a prepaid tracked label, and international customers get our workshop address and packing instructions by email. We send it back tracked at no extra charge. In the UK you can also drop it off at our London workshop by appointment.
Is the motor arm replacement covered by a warranty?
Yes. Every repair and upgrade we carry out on a drone comes with a 12-month warranty from our London workshop, and we send photos or video of the finished work before it ships back to you.
