About this controller
Refurbished Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core in Core Red - professionally restored by the OG Repairs team, gaming-repair specialists who work on these controllers day in, day out. Tested across every button, bumper, trigger, paddle and connector, internally cleaned, and backed by our 12-month warranty. Microsoft's pro pad: adjustable-tension thumbsticks, hair trigger locks, wrap-around rubberised grip and up to 40 hours from the internal rechargeable battery.
The thumbstick caps on an Elite Series 2 are held on by magnets, and this one keeps them: the magnetic caps are included, so any Elite thumbstick cap set will attach.
Back paddles are your choice above. Pick 'with back paddle attachments' and the four rear paddles come in the box, ready to map your most-used buttons to the back of the controller. Pick 'without' and you get the controller on its own at a lower price - the paddle slots are still there, so you can add a set whenever you want.
This is a refurbished unit, not a new one, so expect light cosmetic marks on the shell. Everything else is as it should be. Ready to go out on our normal dispatch times, covered by the same 12-month warranty as every refurbished item we sell, and it works with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC.

Refurbished FAQs
What does refurbished mean at OG Repairs?
A refurbished console or controller from OG Repairs has been stripped down, internally cleaned, given fresh thermal paste (or liquid metal on PS5) where applicable, fully tested and rebuilt by the gaming-repair specialists who fix these machines every day at our London workshop. It is not a factory reseal - every unit is a hands-on workshop rebuild, backed by a 12-month warranty.
What is the difference between Grade A, Grade B and Grade C?
The grades describe cosmetic condition only - every grade is fully working. Grade A - Excellent: minimal signs of use, looks as good as new. Grade B - Good: light scratches or marks you'll barely notice. Grade C - Fair: noticeable cosmetic wear, but fully tested and 100% working. All grades get the same internal clean, full testing and identical 12-month warranty.
Do refurbished consoles come with a warranty?
Yes - every refurbished console and controller is covered by a 12-month warranty from our London workshop. If a fault develops, the same specialists who refurbished your console handle the fix - contact support@ogrepairs.com and we'll put it right. All three grades - A, B and C - carry the identical 12-month warranty.
Are refurbished consoles cheaper than buying new?
Grade B and Grade C cost less than Grade A, with the same full testing and 12-month warranty. Every product page shows the price you pay; compare it with the manufacturer's current price for that model when you shop around. We never show a reference price we haven't checked.
What comes in the box with a refurbished console?
Every refurbished console ships with a power cable and an HDMI cable, ready to plug in and play. Controllers are optional on PlayStation and Xbox - add one or two on the product page. Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED include their Joy-Cons, and the Switch Lite comes with a power cable only, as it has no TV output.
Which refurbished consoles does OG Repairs sell?
OG Repairs sells refurbished PlayStation 5 consoles (Disc and Digital, original and Slim), PlayStation 4 (500GB and 1TB), Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED and Switch Lite, plus refurbished DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers with TMR anti-drift sticks. Each console is available in Grade A, B or C, all fully tested with a 12-month warranty.
How fast is delivery in the UK?
UK orders placed before 2pm on a working day (Monday to Friday) are dispatched the same day. Standard delivery is free and arrives in 2-3 working days (Royal Mail Tracked 48); Express delivery is £9.99 and arrives in 1-2 working days. Every parcel is tracked from dispatch to your door, and you'll receive tracking details by email as soon as it ships.
Do you ship refurbished consoles outside the UK?
Refurbished PlayStation and Xbox consoles ship to UK addresses only: they weigh over 2 kg, which is too heavy to send abroad reliably. Refurbished Nintendo Switch consoles, VR headsets and controllers do ship outside the UK, fully tracked: to Europe with standard delivery in 7-10 working days or express in 3-7, and to the rest of the world with standard delivery in 10-13 working days or express in 7-10; the delivery price for your country is shown at checkout, and an order with both a console and a controller pays one delivery charge, at the console rate. Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey addresses are treated as UK. Any import duties or customs charges for your country are not included and are the buyer's responsibility.
What about stick drift and battery health on Switch consoles and controllers?
Every Switch, Joy-Con and controller is tested before dispatch - analog sticks are checked for drift and dead zones, and batteries are checked to charge and hold power. Stick drift is our specialty: we repair drifting controllers daily and fit drift-free magnetic TMR sticks in our custom builds. Any fault that develops is covered by the 12-month warranty.
How is buying from OG Repairs different from Back Market or CeX?
Back Market is a marketplace listing refurbished consoles from many third-party sellers, and CeX resells traded-in stock; OG Repairs refurbishes every console in-house at its own London gaming-repair workshop. The people who grade, clean and test your console are the same specialists who repair PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo hardware every day, and they back each unit with a 12-month warranty.
Can I trade in my old console or controller?
Yes - trade in your old console, controller or other gaming tech through our Sell Your Tech service and put the value towards a refurbished console. Get a quote online, post your device in with a free tracked label, and choose a bank payout or store credit once it's been checked in.
Can I pay for a refurbished console in instalments?
Yes - Klarna and Clearpay are available at checkout, letting you split the cost of a refurbished console into instalments. We also accept all major debit and credit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices, with every payment processed securely.
Test & Calibrate Your Controller
Download the free OG Controller Tester app to check for stick drift, test every button and trigger, and recalibrate your pad in seconds. Works with PS5, Xbox, SCUF and more.
