If your PS5 DualSense Controller dies quickly or will not hold a charge, the built-in battery has worn out. For £19.99 we fit a new battery, charge it through the USB-C port and test the pad. It is a quick job and covered by our 12-month warranty. Typical turnaround is 2-3 hours.

How do I know it is the battery and not the charging port?
If it charges but runs down fast, it is usually the battery. If it will not charge at all, or only with the cable at an angle, it is more likely the USB-C port. We check both on the bench.
Should I get the 4000mAh battery upgrade instead?
If you want longer sessions than the stock battery gives, yes. The 4000mAh upgrade fits a higher-capacity battery to the DualSense in place of the stock one.

How do I get my DualSense to you?
Mail it in from anywhere: UK orders can include a prepaid tracked label, and international customers get our workshop address and packing instructions by email. We send it back tracked at no extra charge. In the UK you can also drop it off at our London workshop by appointment.
Is the battery replacement covered by a warranty?
Yes. Every repair and upgrade we carry out on a controller comes with a 12-month warranty from our London workshop, and we send photos or video of the finished work before it ships back to you.
